Success in the Pack
I promised, and it’s here. The post on the pack.
Man, I am just so proud of all the packmembers right now. There has been so much activity in the pack. At least when I’m there. And I’m pretty sure it’s been the same when I haven’t been. Because, I read my Alpha(Amythist)’s journal a lot, and she’s been quite happy about the activity of the pack, too. I remember the times when she was only saying things like “activity needs to improve”, or things along those lines. That phrase is completely vanished from her recent posts. It’s just been so nice to be with the pack recently.
We just had another pack meeting on Sunday, and I am so glad I could make it. I always love those, because it used to be the only time when nearly everyone got together and roleplayed. Sometimes it’s hectic…but who cares! There is always a lot going on. Promotions, discussions, and this time, adorable puppies trying to steal away his mothers voice while she tried to lead the meeting. Haha, Scyanite is hilarious. I just added him to my friends list on Facebook a few days ago. We even tried to arrange to meet when I was in Ottawa(he lives there), but that didn’t work out.
Here are the specifics of what happened the day of the meeting:
4/27/08 – Packmeeting is held!
Darklight was demoted to packmate for lack of activity
SilverEye promoted to Gamma
Opalfire promoted to Hunter/Scout
Feenix, Azureite and Whiskey complete Assesment and advance to Packmate
Spynil and MoonWhispers enter assesment as Omegas
Discusion held regarding Forum
Well, that’s not all of it. I intentionally left out two things there just so that I can talk about them individually. And you may have guessed it…but yes, they are about me. To some extent.
The first, is that Jasper has been promoted to Centurion. I’m no longer a Battalion. But, a Centurion. That’s quite an honor. Because that means that I have been granted the responsibility of leading the pack Battalions. They follow my order. And I will be the first on the scene if there’s a threat to the pack. This also means that, if the Alphas need to leave the EmeraldMyst territory for any reason, I am to accompany them as protection. This promotion is such an honor to me, and Jasper. Whoever reads this just might think I’m crazy…and you probably have good reason to. But that won’t change the fact that I love this pack. And therefore, be honored by this.
The funny thing about it, though, is that I knew this was coming. I saw it in hard writing from Amythist. I don’t think she knows that I check up on her journal all the time. If she found out…maybe she’d call me a freaking stalker…but no. I’m not. I check there because I want to know the happenings. And because I care about my packmates. So, I just laughed when she said in the OOC room one day: “Jasper, you better be there for the meeting. You might have a suprise”. I couldn’t stop for like…5 minutes. But of course, I kinda hid that from the pack… =P
But(I know, this is getting long. But meh. Don’t read if you can’t handle it, I don’t care =P), this is not all that happened to me that night. Remember, I left TWO things out? Well, here’s the second.
It came so sudden, I was hardly expecting it. Nothing in Amy’s journal about this, otherwise I wouldn’t have felt the shock. Randomly, in the middle of the meeting, Amy messaged me and asked if DemonCrystal and I wanted to start courting. For all of you who don’t know what that means, it’s the equivelent of dating in “wolf” terms. I told her I would talk to Demon about it, and get back to her by the end of the meeting. Man, that was awkward =P.
We got into this whole random discussion about where a wolf would get a good-looking wedding dress and a ring. We settled on rolling in the mud for a dress, and the twig my wolf was playing with during the roleplay earlier. Because that’s just us. The two most random wolves in the pack. Haha, she even had me propose to her. Jokingly, of course. Then, she said yes.
Amythist threw that into the meeting schedule, and we both agreed to become courts, in front of the whole pack. Demon’s quite the roleplayer. She took on a whole shy persona about the whole situation. I didn’t…lol.
Again, I must say that I am extremely proud of this pack. They are an amazing group of people. Always fun to be around. Hopefully, things can keep going the way they are!
